Privacy
This notice explains measurement on the public site and summarises the processing needed to sign in to and use the private table. Google Analytics 4 applies only to the public site: CLOUDS-WAR implements three product events, and the Google tag adds its own automatic measurement after consent.
What we measure
After your explicit permission, CLOUDS-WAR sends three product events: a page view, a click toward the table login, and use of the audience demo. The GA4 tag also generates automatic events, including first_visit, session_start, and user_engagement. It uses pseudonymous client and session IDs and receives language, page title, and screen resolution; Google may also infer coarse geography from the connection.
What we exclude
We send no Discord or account ID, name, game content, typed text, dice result, query string, actual referring address, or event from table.clouds-war.com. The page address sent is always the canonical public address and the referrer is blank. Enhanced measurement, Google Signals, granular device and location collection, user-provided data collection, and ads personalization are disabled in the GA4 property.
Technical request handling
Requests to clouds-war.com and table.clouds-war.com pass through Cloudflare’s reverse proxy. The browser’s HTTPS connection terminates at Cloudflare, and requests are then forwarded over an encrypted connection to the operator’s infrastructure. Cloudflare therefore processes the technical data needed to route and protect requests.
Private table
Signing in at table.clouds-war.com requests only Discord’s identify scope to read your Discord user ID and check your account against the invited-member allowlist. The Discord access token is used once and is not stored; the table session uses an HttpOnly cookie. Private messages, character sheets, and rolls are stored on the operator’s Ubuntu server. The 14 most recent daily backups are retained. Google Analytics is not loaded on the table subdomain.
Your choice
Rejection is the default. Your decision is stored in this browser’s local storage. If you accept, Google Analytics may create its measurement cookies. You can withdraw permission at any time; loading is then disabled and measurement cookies accessible from this site are removed.
Retention and scope
The dedicated GA4 property retains event data for two months without resetting that period on new activity. This retention and the measurement choices above apply only to clouds-war.com.
